Going Out

Midtown - this is a very Vandy crowd, but lots of fun. 

Bars: Broadway Brewhouse, Distellery, Losers, Kung Fu, Hopsmith, etc. Theres a lot around this area. 

Hillsboro Village - Cabana, There are a few other dive-y places 

Lower Broadway - Big Bang (Piano Bar), Roberts Western World, The Stage, Tootsies, Acme, FGL 

2nd Ave - I never go out around here but thats where a lot of honkey tonks are. 

Printers Alley - Dive-y kareoke bars: Miss Kellys 

Really fun bars - Pinewood Social, Bastion, Old Glory 

Gay bars: Tribe (best music), Play (drag shows)


Neighborhoods to Explore

East Nashville - 5 Points and around there 

Downtown - Country Music Hall of Fame, the Johnny Cash Museum, Hatch Show Print in the Omni, and the Ryman 

Hillsboro Village - Grilled Cheeserie, Pancake Pantry, the Belcourt 

12th South - this is where Reese Witherspoons store is (Draper James), 5 Daughters Doughnuts, Edleys, Las Paletas, and many other boutiques and stores. 

The Gulch - the Thompson and the Westin downtown. Both have roofs. Go to the roof and have drinks or food. Great views. Fun area to go out and walk around in. Also there are tons of distilleries to look into. Beer and liquor. They are all really fun.

A bunch of boutique hotels and rooftop bars/restaurants just opened all around downtown. I haven’t been to them yet, so not sure if they’re good or not.
